Together Is Fun!
The Sidney Public Library will again be offering “Together is Fun” Tuesday, November 20 beginning at 4:00. This session welcomes children K through 6th grade and will feature seasonal crafts and or games. For more information, please call the library at 254-3110.

The Sidney Public Library will again be offering, “Together is Fun! Tuesday, October 23 at 4:00. This session welcomes children K through 6th grade and will feature seasonal games and or crafts. For more information, please call the library at 254-3110.
Toddler Tales and Storytime at the Sidney Public Library
Toddler Tales will begin Wednesday, September 12 for children ages 2 and 3. This session will begin at 10:15 and will feature story and fingerplays/songs. In addition, Storytime will resume Thursday, September 13 for children ages 4 and 5. There will 2 sessions offered – 10:15 and 1:15 and will feature story and fingerplays/song. For more information and or to register your child, please call the Sidney Public Library at 354-3110.

Tuesday, July 24 – Wrap-up at Rock ‘n Read Park – 12:00 – FOR ALL REGISTERED AND COMPLETED PARTICIPANTS – Bring a sack lunch – prizes given! Hope to see you then!

Wednesday, July 18 – “Toddler Toe-Tappers” – 10:30 – Ages 2 and 3 – Featuring story and related fingerplays/songs. – “Composer Corner” – 3:00 – Grades 3rd – 6th – Participants compose their own songs by changing the lyrics of a familiar song – called a “piggyback” composition.
Thursday, July 19 – “Rock ‘n Roll” Sock Hop – 3:00 – Grades 4th – 6th – Fifties/sixties theme – learn the twist etc. (SIGN – UP REQUESTED FOR THIS PROGRAM – this helps us know how much materials etc. will be needed.)
SATURDAY, JULY 21 – ***SUMMER READING IS COMING TO AN END – READING FOLDERS DUE BY CLOSING***

Chris from Aliens and Strangers Music will again be at the Sidney Public Library, Wednesday, July 11 at 10:00. His presentation will include information and demonstration of selected instruments – I believe to include electric guitars! All ages are welcome! Hope to see you then!

Wednesday, July 11 – “Musical Mentors” – 10:00 – All Ages – Guest speaker from Aliens and Strangers Music will provide information on and demonstrate the use of selected instruments – (“Toddler Toe-Tappers” – 11:15 – Ages 2 & 3 – Featuring story and related fingerplays/songs)
Thursday, July 12 – “The Beat Goes On” – 10:30 – Grades 2nd – 3rd – Featuring action story and related craft – (A “Sound” Science – 3:00 – Grades 3rd – 6th – Featuring experiments with sound)
