The summer reading program begins-Thursday, May 31 with a dance party at the library from 6:00 – 8:00. You may also register for the reading program beginning 5:30. Hope to see you there!
ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 11 – JUNE 16
Monday, June 11 – TEEN PROGRAMMING – Grade 7 – 12 – 3:00 – “Disc Art”
Tuesday, June 12 – “Lunch at Rock & Read Park” – All ages – 12:00 – Bring a sack lunch and listen to stories – “I’ve Got the Rhythm” – All ages – 3:00 – Featuring musical crafts
Wednesday, June 13 – The “Toddler Toe-Tappers” – Ages 2 & 3 – 10:30 – Featuring story and related fingerplays/songs – “Composer Corner” – Grades 3 – 6 – 3:00 – Participants compose their own songs by changing the lyrics of a familiar song – called a “piggyback” composition
Thursday, June 14 – “Let’s Make Some Noise” – Age 3 – 1st Grade – 2 Sessions – 10:00 & 11:15 – Featuring story, song, and or related craft – (Sign-up requested for “Let’s Make Some Noise program) – “Reader’s Theater” – Grades 3 – 6 – 3:00 – (Presentation will be on June 26 during “Lunch at Rock & Read Park”)
