Absent: Jane Holechek and Tanya Lewis
               A motion was made by Steve to excuse Jane and Tanya from the May 8 Board meeting. 
               The Motion was seconded by Shannon.
                APPROVED: All          

Meeting called to order at: 4:00 pm.

Friends Report given by:  Amanda

  • 10 people participated in the Haiku/Tai Chi program on April 29th.
    • All pots for the Adopt-A-Pot have been adopted.  Planting will take place during the month of May.   

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made by Shannon to approve the minutes of the April 10, 2023 meeting.  The motion was seconded by Steve.
     APPROVED: ALL

Financial Reports and Bills:  A motion was made by Shannon to approve the Bills for April 2023.  The motion was seconded by Steve. 
     APPROVED: ALL

Old Business:

  • Amanda was asked to contact Dave Porter to come in and help resolve several computer issues.
  • The Board requested that Amanda call and get on the agenda for the Cheyenne County Commissioners meeting so her and Julie can discuss the bookmobile.  The Board also requested that Julie keep them up to date on the maintenance being done.

New Business:

  • April 29 was the Plant and Seed exchange hosted by the Federated Garden Clubs and Cheyenne County Extension office there was estimated 40 people that participated.
  • The Booksale was held an extra week due to National Library Week.
  • Eileen gave a report on the upcoming Summer Reading Program.  June 3rd will be the sign-up kickoff.  There will be several different activities during the 6-week program.
