Also Present: Amanda, Autumn, Eileen, Julie, Sandy, Stephanie

Absent: Tanya Lewis.
               A motion was made by Jen to excuse Tanya from the Board Meeting. 
                The motion was seconded by Steven.

Friends Report given by:  Amanda

  • The Dr Seuss celebration was a great success.  There were over 55 children in attendance.
  • The next meeting will be March 20th at 6:00pm.  Discussions will be held about the Summer Reading Program and the Adopt-A-Pot.  

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made by Steve to approve the minutes of the February 13, 2023 meeting.  The motion was seconded by Shannon.
     APPROVED: ALL

Financial Reports and Bills:  A motion was made by Shannon to approve the Bills for February 2023.  The motion was seconded by Jen. 
     APPROVED: ALL

New Business:

  • March 30, 2023, North Elementary is holding a STEAM program.  Amanda will be taking the 3-D printer and the VR headsets to demonstrate.
  • The Free Speech Group for Teens will be featuring Sidney Mayor Brad Sherman.  He has agreed to do a Q&A on Reddit.  Advertising will be done on other social media platforms.
  • April 29 will be the Plant and Seed exchange hosted by the Federated Garden Clubs and Cheyenne County Extension office, UNL from 9am to 1pm.

A motion was made by Shannon to go into closed session to go into Personnel matters at 4:15pm. The motion was seconded by Steven.
