Meeting called to order at: 4:00 pm.

Friends Report given by:  Steph

  • The Friends will be meeting on November 21st at 6:00pm.
  • Board positions will be voted on.
  • An ornament contest will be held in December.
  • Plans will be made for the Winter Adult Reading program.

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made by Jen to approve the minutes of the October 11, 2022 meeting.  The motion was seconded by Tanya.
     APPROVED: ALL

Financial Reports and Bills:  A motion was made by Tanya to approve the Bills for October 2022.  The motion was seconded by Shannon. 
     APPROVED: ALL

Old Business:

  • Policies are complete and new copies were handed out to all.
  • Amanda will continue to look for bi-law information.                                

New Business: 

  • A motion was made by Sandy to close at 4:00pm on January 6, 2023 so the staff can attend the City Awards Banquet.  It will be held at the Elk Club. The motion was seconded by Tanya.

APPROVED: ALL

  • The library will decorate the Maids room at the Post Commanders home for the Holidays.
  • Christmas Open House will be held December 15.  Staff and Board members will be making cookies.  Music will be provided from 4-6 by local high school students. The Board will also have a lunch for the Staff.
  • Sandy White’s last board meeting December 12.
  • Eileen will be having a Merry Grinchmas program on December 17 for kids/families from 2-4 pm. 
  • Julie will drive the bookmobile in the Christmas parade December 2. 
  • Amanda received a donation of seeds for the Seed Library. She has made brochures that will be handed out.
  • A motion was made by Jen to go into closed session for Personnel discussion at 4:20pm. The motion was seconded by Shannon.
