The Sidney Public Library will be offering the following activities that correspond with the Summer Reading Program – “Every Hero Has a Story” for the week of June 22 through June 26.

  1. TUESDAY, JUNE 23 – Lunch at Super Reader Park – All Ages – 12:00 – Bring a sack lunch and listen to stories.  “Make a Patriotic Star Wreath” activity – All Ages – 2:00 -3:00.
  2. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24 – Toddler Titans – Ages 2 & 3 – 10:30 – Story and fingerplays.  SUPER HERO ACADEMY – All Ages – 2:00 – 3:00.
  3. THURSDAY, JUNE 25 – “Thank a Hero” – Youth 4th – 6th Grade  10:30 – Military writing activity and possible guest and craft such as a patriotic friendship pin.  (SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM IS REQUESTED.)  SUPER HERO ACADEMY – All Ages – 2:00 – 3:00.
  4. THURSDAY, JUNE 25 – TEENS – UNMASK YOUR CREATIVITY “Mini Comic Con” – Teens – 3:30.  Make your own comic strip.  Finished comic strips will be displayed.
