Adult Coloring Club

Bring your coloring book, crayons, markers and colored pencils
Individual coloring sheets will be available if you don’t have your own coloring book!
Attend the Eclipse presentation on August 12th at 11:00am! Learn how to watch the Great American Solar Eclipse safely, all about the different types of eclipses and when they can next be seen.
The Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party is Wed, July 19th at noon. Bring your picnic lunch to “Story Builder Park”! We will do the drawings for our prize winners and enjoy a “cool” treat. (We will be inside if the heat is extreme.)
Learn how surf the web and use your computer safely and smartly with the tips shared at this program. This program will be on Saturday, May 20th at 10:30am.
Learn how create 3D models that can be printed on the Library’s 3D printer. This program will be Saturday, April 22nd at 10:00am.
This year’s Summer Reading theme is fitness and health. It starts June 1st and ends July 16th.
The library has a lot of activities planned and you’ll find all of them on the Calendar page. Highlights are a Movie Night at the library on June 3rd to kick off the summer, a “Focus on the Fifties” Family Day on June 18th, a Magic Show the morning of June 22nd at West Elementary, and a Sportstacular Family Day on July 16th.
On Your Mark, Get Set… Read! is the Children’s program. Participants will need to read 10 books and participate in two of the library’s activity days to earn a 5$ gift card to local restaurants.
Get in the Game… Read! is the Teen program. Teens
Exercise Your Mind… Read! is the Adult program. Adults must fill out an entry slip for each book they read to be in the drawing for a gift card to a local restaurant.
The Friends of Sidney Public Library are providing the funding for the Summer Reading programs and activities.
Be sure to check out our OverDrive (ebooks & audiobooks), OneClickDigital (audiobooks) and Zinio (emagazines) digital services this summer! These services can be accessed wherever you have internet service allowing you to download books and magazines to your computer, tablet or phone that can then be read or listened to anywhere. If you’re traveling this summer, these digital services offer great access and convenience.
The Sidney Public Library will be offering a “Bunny Buns” craft program, Saturday, March 14. The program will begin at 10:00 and will last approximately two hours. Adults and children 12 years and up are welcome.
