NE Dept of Labor job application and unemployment benefits assistance

The NE Dept of Labor will have representatives on site at the library from 9am-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September through November to assist job seekers with resume writing and searching, applying and interviewing for jobs. They will also be able to assist with filing for unemployment benefits. You can also contact the NDOL staff at 308-632-1420 or email them at scotttsbluffwfd@nebraska.go.

New Video Conferencing System

Our new video conferencing system is now ready for use in the Smith Room! Save money, time and avoid weather issues by meeting virtually instead of traveling to your next meeting. You can use the library’s laptop or your own device with the 65″ TV and web camera/microphone.

Display for the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights

2016 marks the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights. In honor of this milestone, the National Archives has provided the library with the “Amending America” display. The “Amending America” display highlights the remarkably American story of how we have amended, or attempted to amend, the Constitution in order to form a nation that more closely mirrors our ideals.
