The Sidney Public Library will not have free 2018 Federal or State tax forms available this tax season. The IRS continues to reduce the distribution of their preprinted forms in order to promote the e-filing of income taxes. The Library’s computers can be used to print the tax forms you need at a cost of 10¢/page. If you need help printing your tax forms, please ask. We are happy to help. Library staff can not advise or assist you with the completion of your taxes.
The NE Dept of Labor will have representatives on site at the library from 9am-2pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September through November to assist job seekers with resume writing and searching, applying and interviewing for jobs. They will also be able to assist with filing for unemployment benefits. You can also contact the NDOL staff at 308-632-1420 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
